Rules & Regulations (The Student Code)
A Teacher Training Course is an intense, immersive period of physical, mental, and energetic transformation. To maintain the purity of the environment and respect the ancient traditions we uphold, all students are required to rigorously observe the following Code of Conduct during their residency in Goa.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Severe breach of any of the rules below will result in immediate termination of the student's enrollment, forced eviction from the accommodation, and the denial of their certification with absolutely no financial refund.
- 1. Strict Prohibition of Intoxicants: The consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol, recreational drugs, tobacco, or vaping products is strictly banned throughout the duration of the course, both on and off campus.
- 2. Minimum 100% Attendance: As per Yoga Alliance standards, students are required to attend 100% of all scheduled classes. In the event of severe illness, missed hours must be made up during rest periods at the discretion of the Lead Trainer.
- 3. Honor the Sattvic Diet: Only pure, vegetarian (Sattvic) food is served at the academy. Bringing outside non-vegetarian food, profound junk food, or caffeine onto the premises disrupts the energetic container and is forbidden.
- 4. Sacred Space Etiquette (Mauna): Students must observe periods of silence (Mauna) as scheduled (e.g., from dinner until the end of morning practice). Use of mobile phones is entirely prohibited inside the yoga shalas, dining areas, and during all lectures.
- 5. Respect the Lineage & Teachers: Disrespectful behavior, loud arguments, gossiping, or sexual misconduct toward staff, locals, or fellow students will not be tolerated. Students must maintain a spirit of humility and spiritual inquiry.
